![]() When an aura is active, you cannot use other right click skills when using a controller. Diablo II classic players will have original stash. Now if you press Q, Fireball will become selected as your right-click skill. ![]() you could, say, bind Fireball to your Q key. You can use the hot keys to quickly cycle the skills. You select the skill you want to use, then either left- or right-click. The way it works is you have some skills that can be activated with left-click, and some that are activated with right-click. In the original D2, skills could be hot keyed. A javazon can practically waltz through hell with vendor gear, a frenzy barb would struggle to do the same. As for gearing up, builds in D2 have vastly different gear requirements. The game is not particularly well-balanced, and I don't know whether to expect balance patches to come with the remaster. In multiplayer, having a build that does 1/5th as much damage as the next guy's will probably feel bad, though. I would say for finishing the game, virtually any build can be 'viable', some just require you to play through the game slower or more cautiously. Functional, but not particularly satisfying. Or just run past enemies who are immune to your build's damage type. The big roadblock for solo play are immunities, which are something you just need to build around if you want to play solo. Solo is perfectly viable, though grouping up can certainly make the game easier, especially if you're accompanied by higher level/better geared players. Click to shrink.There is nothing in D2 as difficult as pushing high-end GRs, but beating the final boss of D2 on Hell difficulty is way harder than playing through the story of D3.
